Our Story
FS Bridge Inspection Services is an engineering company offering a range of inspections, testing and monitoring services to the bridge industry. It all began with the founder Douglas Finger, civil engineer, expert on bridge analysis, bridge inspection and Non-Destructive Testing. In 2020 the company has completed 10 years of successful contracts worldwide, to private sector and public authorities, with offices in the UK and Brazil.
Social responsibility, environment responsibility and respect for people and life are key elements to our business and have guided our experience. We are focused to deliver a precise and organized work, using most recent technologies available to our clients.

Douglas has a Civil Engineer bachelor’s degree with focus on Structural Engineering. He is a Certified Bridge Inspector by National Highway Institute (NHI) and Bridge Inspection Competence Scheme (BICS). He is also a certified NDT inspector by ASNT – American Society for Nondestructive Testing for Dye Penetrant, Magnetic Particle and Ultrasonic Pulse-Echo and certified Level 1 IRATA for Rope Access. His entire career has been dedicated to structural engineering and bridge inspection.
